One of my goals for the end of Restart round 2 was to run a 5km in under 30 mins. My journey. 2012: What started it all (though I had been overweight majority of my life). At the start of my journey I was 120kg and felt super uncomfortable in my skin (physically as well as mentally) while also knowing I needed to lose fat for my health, though I went about it all wrong. 2014: 10kg from my lowest 1 month in recovery from anorexia and feeling more uncomfortable in my body then ever despite my small frame. And no dieting wasn't the "reason" for my ED, honestly that time was just a perfect storm and food (or lack of it) was how I escaped my reality and felt a sense of control. The start of this journey is why today I take the approach I do with clients AND have such a strong emphasis on positive mental health. This journey also is what sparked my passion proper health and nutrition which then turned into my personal training and nutrition certifications 😊 2019: From a couple of months ago but this is pretty much where I am now. Last night I watched the first episode of Tidying Up With Marie Kondo on Netflix. It was all thanks to the stories I saw over at @wthy_co yesterday (they got me all inspired!) All I can say is WOW, the whole episode was sparking me joy! 😂 Who knew it would be so satisfying watching people tidy up. 😝 . I’m a massive fan of organisation, systems and de-cluttered environments. I’m less stressed and overwhelmed when everything is tidy and in place. . Since returning to work a couple of years ago, I feel like my game has slipped a little in this department. Things are “tidy” but not quite as organised as I would like. So I think I know my next mission 💪🏽 . Has anyone else Marie Kondo’d their house? I’d love to hear about it. And if you have any recommendations for storage boxes, compartments etc, please share your secrets with me! 😍
