#mondaymotivation I sooooo did not want to workout today. Lots of excuses, but be your own goals. Adapted this beach workout today in my backyard 🤗. 1 mile run —-10 push ups, 10 air squats, 10 rev. Lunge and of course 10 burpees —- repeat 5x and finish with 1 mile run . Fitness has always been some sort of meditation for me. A stress reliever. A go to for escape from reality. Started at 16 yrs old and continued to stayed with it throughout high school, playing a multitude of sports, the Marine Corps, etc. It’s definitely a commitment to me and I can say that I was complacent a few times but just like with everything else, things click in mind and it becomes muscle memory when you put your heart into it. It’s not really about getting big or getting stronger every single time. To me it’s about sustaining your overall wellness in life and maybe use your health as a tool to continue to succeed in other areas of your life. #fitnessmotivation

You’re the best 🤗⠀⁣ ⁣⠀⠀⁣ ⁣OK let’s work it, you can use these 4 as the core of a perfect full body workout or just mix them in however you like! 💅⠀⁣ ⁣⠀⠀⁣ ⁣Swipe + save + let’s get 💪⠀⁣ ⁣⠀⠀⁣ ⁣🔥 Lateral curtsy lunge into hold (3 x 6 per side): you don’t need to add the RB for these if you don’t want, they’re such a crazy good functional movement either way. Super explosive in the lateral bound, super stable and controlled in the hold 🙌⠀⁣ ⁣⠀⠀⁣ ⁣🔥 Unilateral KB squat to press (3 x 8 per side): it’s one continuous movement, so the momentum from the squat carries into the overhead press and we’re tightening the core up at the top 🤘⠀⁣ ⁣⠀⠀⁣ ⁣🔥 Crab position toe touches (3 x 14 total): 🦀 keep that butt up high so there’s a neutral base position and you gotta do extra stabilising work 🍑☝️⠀⁣ ⁣⠀⠀⁣ ⁣🔥 Dip variations (3 x max): the Marine fitness testing has reminded me of the amazingness of getting better at bodyweight moves. Wherever you are with them now, I promise you can become better at them than you realise. Just work at your limit, don’t worry about where anyone else is with them. Resistance bands can assist you when you need, or you can just hit negative reps until you’re ready for the full thing.
