A few reasons why I include a weekly handstand practice in my training… 🙃 - Strengthens the core muscles more effectively and more enjoyably than doing a sh*t load of crunches 🤷🏽‍♀️ - Strengthens the upper body, especially the arms & shoulders. There’s loads of variations and progressions from handstanding against a wall to hand stand push ups to walking up steps on your hands, so your body can always be challenged regardless of your ability 💪🏽 - Being upside down increases bloodflow to the head which stimulates the endocrine system. If you want to feel every muscle in your body, this move is amazing 🙌 Make sure you keep your knees off the ground but hovering right above. . I can’t get enough of this 80 Day program. I am on round 3 and about to start phase 3 on Monday. . In the past, I HATED exercising. I struggled to stay on track so bad. I also didn’t know how much I need weights and strength training! I am so glad that I found something I enjoyed enough and something that gave me such incredible results, that I actually stayed on track long enough, to make it a habit. . The thing is, when you are out of shape, it’s fricken torture working out. Once you are in shape, it’s not torture anymore! It’s still hard, but a different hard! It’s hard cause you are pushing yourself to go harder and get stronger, but not a hard because your so out of shape. You have to do it long enough and stop starting and stopping over and over again! . Find something that works and something with variety to keep it interesting! And trust me, weights are so much better then cardio 😂 I flip flopped from a ton of cardio and little weights to a ton of weights and little cardio....and guess what, it works SO SO much better!

I was at the doctor today for my carpel tunnel and I was telling her I work from my phone and she asked me what I did for a living, and I said “I am a Social Media Influencer/Entrepreneur. I help ladies get in shape and be happy and am also a Fitboss Mentor, helping Aspiring Influencers do what I do and make $$”. . She said “do you work from your computer?” I said “sometimes! Mostly from my phone, because I work from wherever”. . She said “WOW, what a dream to have that flexibility!” . It IS an absolute dream ❤️. . Little choices along the way, got me to the place where I am at today.... The choice to take a leap of faith and start coaching. The choice to prioritize my health. The decision that I wanted freedom and I would hustle to make it happen. The choice to get up early and stay up a little later every day, to have time to work. The choice to do Personal Development to build my confidence and keep me motivated and focused on my goals and future. . Everything changed for me when I realized that the future was made in this current moment and every little choice I made was important and unless I wanted to be in the same spot 5 years from now, then I needed to do something about it. . Another thing that changed things for me, was when I realized that I was fully capable and just as deserving as anyone else, to accomplish great things and if someone else could do it, then so could I! Why not me?? Why not you??

This is how we spent our Anzac day afternoon, together as a family, thankful for the freedom we've been given, to be able to enjoy our day, each and every day. We paid our respects at a memorial plaque down by the water and we explained to Mr 3 what today was about. He doesn't quite understand it yet though.
