I hope I don’t give the impression here that I am making paintings and selling them all. It’s just not true. . I paint consistently , trying to improve my painting skills . Sometimes I keep them for a while and then paint over them when I have another idea I want to try out. Occasionally someone will contact me to buy one - and some I will just hold onto because there’s something special about them and I want to be able to look back at them . Maybe it was a big step forward , or contains an idea I want to pursue in the future. . This pink painting on the right is one of those . It was one of the first paintings I did in 2015 that gave me this excited feeling as it came together , the brushstrokes were loose and the colours and composition just worked after struggling for some time . . . I just want to be transparent because I know that when I first came on Instagram it looked like every artist was selling everything they created. I know now that a lot of us often sell paintings after we’ve had them around for a while . @lamara_inspired created this amazing tray using Art Pro Pigments’ “Orange” Color 🤩🧡 ⠀⠀ "Cells cells cells...I tell you they are the most elusive, delicate, surprising things in resin art. Sometimes I pour resin just to see what happens. I love this tray, I found myself surprised by this tray. The layers we all done in one shot. Left over resin bits and bobs and then that glorious @artpropigments orange and some heat and poof magic. I walked away from the table praying it would not move. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 And it did not!!! Woohoo. All I dream about it water at the moment. Obvs I need to do more swimming or just drink more. Finishing up last orders today, sending out a few gift vouchers, and small paintings and two to go @themoreegallery .
