✖️STRONGER GLUTES WITH JUST TWO MOVES!✖️ . Want to grow your glutes? Then get REALLY good at these two moves. Here are two of my working sets from today’s workout! . 1. Glute focused hypers: it took me a while to get the hang of these but once I found my sweet spot, giiiiiirl—my boot was on fiya 🔥 2. DB RDL’s: working with 70s today! First time I did this weight on this exercise and I felt like a total badass NGL 😋 . What I’ve learned and I tell all of my clients is that getting GOOD at the basics will always yield better results than doing the next IG workout. I cycle the same workouts for weeks at a time so I can monitor my progression and make sure I’m actually improving with the weight/reps I’m using! . Another thing I’m focusing on is really feeling the exercise. Sometimes I just can’t get the right mind muscle connection with the glute hypers so I won’t do them and I’ll try another exercise that feels better. If you’re not feeling your muscles contracting the way they should be, then you’re wasting your time. Find what works for YOU and get good at that movement.

⭐️July Member of the Month is the oh so lovely @heidi_vaughn4! This mama of 2 never misses a workout and it shows!! Can we say goals?⭐️ Hotworx has been the only gym I’ve found that I’ve truly enjoyed and stuck with. I love taking classes but other gyms the schedules were too hard to keep up with and I’d end up missing workouts and eventually quitting all together. Being a busy mom of two, the fact that the sessions are all offered 24 hrs a day helps me to workout when it’s convenient for me. The app also helps to keep me accountable. My favorite workout is to do a Blast session followed by Pilates. I will binge anything Sci-Fi. And read anything Sci-Fi. If it couldn’t possibly happen in real-life, that’s my jam. #nerd My favorite thing to do in Norman is obviously watch Sooner Football. Good morning! If you’ve seen my story, you know why I looked surprised. I’ve been running the same route with @desired_lives for a few years and it is always 4.0 miles. Today I somehow added 0.15! And ran at an average pace that was a full minute faster than it was Tuesday. Why is that? It certainly wasn’t due to getting more sleep. I looked at my food tracker and saw what was different each day. I suspect how I fueled myself each day impacted each run. There’s a lot to be learned there! There are so many benefits to tracking what you eat. What’s your reason? If you want to learn more, let’s chat!
