We donโ€™t have a great day, we make it a great day! . Today I woke up tired, grumpy and sore. My foot is fine, itโ€™s the rest of my body that is aching - lower back, upper back and neck. My body is over compensating in other places due to me not walking and being on crutches - itโ€™s a daily battle in one way or another and some days it gets too much! . . I took Leo to school and then booked myself in for some #hyperbaric oxygen therapy to find my zen and to fast track the healing process with my foot. This was just what I needed to regroup and ground myself โ˜บ๏ธ๐Ÿ˜€. . I then came home to rest and received some pretty exciting emails about upcoming opportunities. I have been in this fitness game for a very long time. I have invested YEARS of hustle, grind and sacrifice to get myself and my business to where it is so itโ€™s days like today where I can really acknowledge the above and pat myself on my back๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ. . I didnโ€™t give up when it got tough nor did completely fall apart when my world was flipped on itโ€™s head a few years ago. One thing that has helped me come this far is the DAILY practice of positive self talk and my inner dialogue, giving back to others and surrounding myself with like minded people ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ˜˜. . DO the work, focus on YOU, your wellbeing and your mindset. In the toughest of times there will always be a silver lining, you just have to be awake enough to see things for how they really are. My first proper workout in 4 weeks went down today, and I can tell you in between the odd โ€˜F bombโ€™, it felt AMAZING ๐Ÿคฎ๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ . If todayโ€™s session was anything to go by, Iโ€™m super excited for whatโ€™s to come. We started with a lot of activation and mobility work before getting into the session ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ A big focus now is on building up my weaknesses, core and glutes. Also focusing on a lot of single arm work to create more balance ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿผ . Call me crazy but Iโ€™ve missed the pump and that ๐Ÿคฎ feeling ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฃ @cro_sensei you legend, thanks for motivating me and helping this girl out in her time of need ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ A firm but fair trainer who knows my capabilities and is pushing me mentally and physically.
