When you have always had chicken legs 🙄 need to grow me a booty and some quads again! I struggle to build muscle especially when I’m running as my arms start to resemble a t-Rex 🦖 But I honestly think although running is my passion nothing sculpts your body like lifting heavy 💪🏽 don’t be scared to get yourself in the ‘big boy’ area of the gym it’s for us girls too 🙌🏼 x

Chris and I managed to get to the gym today 🙌🏼 we ran the mile there then did an all over weights session and then jogged home! Felt home but so out of condition. Would really love to get to the gym more as I know that running alone is not going to change my body in the way I want! Wearing THE most comfortable gym wear ever from @maaree x

A week late but 34+ weeks old now as long out as they were in! I’m not sure I will ever really accept my body for how it looks now and part of me mourns my post baby body but I do respect what my body has been able to do and grow 4 healthy children which I will forever be thankful for especially after years of thinking we would never be lucky enough to have children! ✌🏼 x

I was standing looking in the mirror earlier moaning about my stomach as usual and Chris told me not to be so hard on myself and took a photo for me to see for myself! It’s no where near perfect or where I would like it to be but I’m getting there slowly 💪🏽 #perspective x

Sunday morning run with Dad and it was tough! It’s a hard off road course anyway with loose gravel paths and muddy tracks but it was also super windy and my legs became so tired after mile 4 after last nights run x

Hot Vimto! I get so cold after I’ve been for a run in the winter I just can’t ever seem to get warm so I like to have a hot Vimto so random but does the trick! Was really windy tonight and had to stop at the top of a steep hill 😫 but at least it’s done now for some Quorn and veggie green Thai curry x

Sunday morning run with my Dad. Furthest I’ve run since having the girls. It’s quite a hilly course down country lanes so I was really chuffed with the pace x

7 months postpartum I feel like my core is slowly regaining strength and hopefully my diastasis continues to improve, I’m definitely feeling different physically and also mentally about how I look! The discolouration of my skin is lessening and my skin tone is improving but it will never be what it was before but I think I’ve decided that a tummy tuck is personally not for me! I don’t want to get rid of the skin in replace for a large scar and months more of recovery when I want to focus on my fitness and and getting my running back on track x

Today’s meals, there was so much chocolate and general rubbish left in the fridge and cupboards from Christmas that I put it all in a bag and asked my mum to take it to hers 🤣 no temptation then apart from some of Sullivan’s little treats! @triplet_dad_of_4 and I are doing dry January like most of the country but are also back on the wagon with limiting ourselves to one cheat night a week! 4 weeks postpartum v 6 months postpartum. My diastasis is now measuring a 3 finger gap at the top and middle and closed at the bottom. In tension this is down to a 2 finger gap so I’m really happy considering I started at an 8 finger gap 😱 I credit most of this success to the amazing @m_a_m_a_w_e_l_l_n_e_s_s 🙌🏼 thank you so much Nina x

24 weeks postpartum! Need to close this stubborn gap some more 🤬 just when I finally felt well enough to exercise I’ve got yet another heavy cold. I think it’s my body’s way of telling me I need to rethink my lifestyle and nutrition. I eat well and exercise but I think I must be run down. I’m going to start taking some multi vitamins, some echinacea and probiotics and clean up my diet some more and see if that helps as it’s hard to be constantly ill and look after 4 kids under 3 😩 x
